Stoke FM Radio Society is hosting three weeks of “Hide & Go Ski” Scavenger hunt through November 05-26, 2021. Each week is a different theme within the City of Revelstoke, and where Gnorm the Powder Gnome will be hiding. If you find Gnorm, you keep Gnorm!

This is Stoke FM’s 10-year anniversary fundraiser with a goal of raising $10,000. Participants can enter by completing our 2021 listener survey, or seeking out one of 10 Gnorms hidden around the community each week. Participants can enter by completing our 2021 listener survey, finding Gnorm the Powder Gnome, or through donation. *See fine print for details.

This form enters you into the contest. After that, you compete to find Gnorms to increase your chances of winning prizes. Please indicate location you found Gnorm the Powder Gnome.

Stoke FM Radio Society is a not-for-profit community radio station run mostly by volunteers. We rely on donations for operations and programming. Please donate to help us raise our fundraising goal! 

 

ABOUT THE HIDE AND GO SKI FUNDRAISER

Funds raised will be used for needed technology upgrades, liaison reports, business development, and operating costs for running a not-for-profit radio society and station. These necessary upgrades allow us to provide higher quality programming and new apprenticeship programs for the community of Revelstoke.

Prizes include dogsled adventures, an avalanche safety training course, and two season passes to Revelstoke Mountain Resort.

WEEK 1: History of Revelstoke

  2. This building commemorates much of Revelstoke’s early transportation history.

  6. This historic building, where a lot of decisions are made, just got a facelift.
  7. One of Revelstoke’s big draws have their new offices downtown where the Molson’s used to have a bank.
  8. Every town has one to give place for those who came back, and to remember those who didn’t.
  9. One of Revelstoke’s historic hotels, its location in the heart of downtown makes it one of the “River City’s” most well known locations.
