Dr. Silvina Mema on overdoses in Revelstoke
There’s no question that in places like Vernon, Kelowna, Kamloops and Vancouver, the toll the toxic drug crisis is taking on people’s lives, plays out visibly, on the streets. It’s not public in Revelstoke, but people here are struggling with the same addictions. In 2024, three people died from overdose. 15 people called emergency health services because of overdose.
