Revelstoke Workforce Affordable for Purchase Housing Program

Kevin Dorrius, the general manager at Community Futures, has taken it upon himself to create a non-market housing development, where Revelstoke residents will be able to purchase units. Dorrius has been working over the last year-and-a-half with the city of Revelstoke, the Revelstoke Community Housing Society, and Cathy English at the museum and archives. Now, the city has donated land on Basford Street for the development, and has entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Community Futures regarding the development.
