The News Show Ep. 11: The Federal Candidates edition
Listen to Revelstoke’s five candidates running for the federal election: Phaedra Idzan for NDP, Mel Arnold for Conservative, Michael Henry for the People’s Party of Canada, Ken Robertson for the Liberals and Owen Madden for the Green Party.
Canada’s general federal election is coming up on April 28. The polling station is at the Revelstoke Community Centre. Polls are open that day from 7 am to 7 pm.
Advance polls are open from Friday, April 18 to Monday, April 21, from 9 am to 9 pm at the Revelstoke Community Centre.
You can register to vote by mail until April 22. You can go to any Election Canada office to vote until April 22. The two closest to Revelstoke are in Salmon Arm and Vernon. Go to the Elections Canada website for all this information.
Castanet is hosting an online all-candidates forum for the riding of Kamloops-Shuswap-Central Rockies (which includes Revelstoke) on April 22 from 6:00 to 7:15 pm.
