Ryan Buhler tells us that avalanche conditions are minimal right now, and that it has been a relatively quiet winter, but with snow in the forecast in the coming days, things can change.  Avalanche Canada has a webinar on Valentines Day on digital mapping tools.  Avalanche Awareness Day is coming up on February 17th on Boulder Mountain, so it will be a great opportunity to meet a forecaster, practice your skills, or just have fun, head on up.
