Today, Jenn & Lerritt spoke with Sandra Riches from BC AdventureSmart about the North Shore SAR’s rescue of a lost hiker who had followed a trial on Google Maps that didn’t actually exist.  She covered the importance of doing your due diligence when properly researching where your next adventure will be, and not relying on technology so much.  Some good news came out of it, too, because by the end of our interview Sandra found that Google had finally processed BCSARA’s request to totally remove the non-existent hiking trial from their systems.
