Stoke FM Knows Atmospheric River & UN Climate Conference in Dubai
Environment Canada is warning coastal southern BC that an atmospheric river with be passing through the southern part of the province over Monday and Tuesday. They are saying that it won’t be as destructive as the one that passed through in November 2021, but could result in minor flooding in coastal areas.

World leaders are meeting in Dubai for the UN Climate Conference. As our climate continues to change, there has been some focus on lasting health problems attributed to pollution, highlighting the 7million who die from it every year. Accusations of greenwashing have been made in relation to a “deal” made with the world’s oil companies to reduce emissions, but it’s still important to have these conversations, and progress can be made.
