Stoke FM Knows Coquihalla Highway Reconstruction, Revelstoke Grizzlies, & the Snowflake Festival
Last week BC Transport Minister, Rob Fleming, announced the completion of the reconstruction and upgrading to the Coquihalla Highway after the atmospheric rivers from a couple of years ago that wiped out numerous points on the route. Even though the highway is built “bigger, stronger, better” than before, Fleming still warns that a future with climate change is unpredictable, and says that “we can anticipate even more extreme climate weather-related events.”

The Revelstoke Grizzlies beat the Osoyoos Coyotes last Friday night by a score of 5-0, with goaltender Louis Adler getting his first KIJHL shutout. The Grizz have a game in Kamloops on Tuesday, before returning to the Forum on Saturday night for a big game against Kimberley.
The Snowflake Festival, the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Revelstoke Ski Club, was amazing, and the Stoke FM Team had a blast attending.
