A snowmobiler was rescued on Feb. 26 in the Sugar Bowl area of Boulder Mountain after an avalanche when a Great Canadian Tours group led by guide Olivier Muellier was descending, and saw the victim’s friends probing. Muellier quickly took control of the situation, was able to detect the rider’s beacon, and the group with able to extricate him with little time to spare.
