Stoke FM Knows LUNA Rail, Legion Days, Emergency Services Food Drive

Stoke FM Knows all sorts of things, and today Caroline and Lerritt were talking about 2 upcoming community events, and the results of another one.  LUNA Rail is coming up as closing day for LUNA weekend, with some of the artists from the previous two days present, as well as booths from around the community, the Revelstoke Grizzlies, and so much more.

Legions Days are starting on Sunday with the Jack Byers Memorial Golf Tournament on Sunday the 17th.  Don’t miss Trivia Night on Wednesday, and karaoke on Friday, followed by a free community BBQ on Saturday the 23rd, and the meat draw right after.

The Emergency Food Drive was a success, collecting over 9000lbs of food, and $4500 in donations collected.  Revelstoke always comes out for events like these, with almost 200 volunteers, and very few homes turning those folks away.
