NASA’s Ingenuity, the first human constructed flying vehicle on another planet, crashed earlier this month, and will no longer be able to fly after damaging one of it’s rotor blades. The small helicopter represented a major milestone in humanity’s exploration of Mars. Even though it was only supposed to be operational for one month, Ingenuity surpassed all expectations by doing science for over three years.
