Stoke FM Knows Salmonella Outbreak, Actions Against Gender Based Violence, & CPKC Holiday Train
The Public Health Agency of Canada warned citizens of an ongoing salmonella outbreak across the country, focusing on imported cantaloupe. With 8 people killed throughout North America, with older people, young children, pregnant women, and those with weakened immune systems being most at risk.

The Revelstoke Women’s Shelter held an event at Conversations on Wednesday to commemorate the massacre at L’ecole Polytechnique in 1989, and to raise awareness for gender based violence. Big thanks to Lynn, Michelle, Melyssa, Marina, and everyone at the Women’s Shelter for all that they do.
The CPKC Holiday Train will be passing through Revelstoke next Friday, December 15. It’s scheduled to arrive at 2:15, with performances from Tyler Shaw, and Kiesza to begin at 2:45.
