Big Eddy water is safe to drink says the city of Revelstoke
Water samples from the Big Eddy supply done by Interior Health came show bacterial testing results and disinfection levels are within normal drinking water standards, said the city of Revelstoke in a news alert.
The city put of a press release on Aug. 16 saying a single water sample from the Big Eddy distribution system showed “abnormal bacteriologica.”
The city in consultation with Interior Health, which does the water sampling, put out a precautionary water advisory as a result.
Stoke FM asked the city and Interior Health for more information but neither had anyone available for an interview.
