Stoke FM Morning Show Knows

The recent rains have helped chase much of the local smoke away, but according to the BC Wildfire Service and Parks Canada there are still fires in the area.  There isn’t much happening with the Jordan River fire, but the Hiren Creek and Uto fires are still burning.

The Perseid Meteor Shower reaches it’s peak over the next two nights (August 11th and 12th), and the moon will be at 10% strength, so it will be a great weekend to get out and watch the night sky.
